Have you already visited the wonderland on the sunny side of the Alps? A home of friendly people, outstanding landscape, a place where peace and serenity reign? This is how Slovenia is described by a Huffington Post journalist. Slovenia is becoming increasingly popular destination all over the world, which is also evident by the increasing amount of posts on social networks.

Lizzie Davey, a journalist for Huffington Post, was simply delighted with her visit to Slovenia. She was impressed by peace and serenity. According to her, Slovenia is a pearl, not yet revealed to its full extent, where calmness reigns. Enthusiastic about Slovenia, the author describes the idyllic narrow streets of the littoral city of Piran, the tale about the Predjamski grad castle, a vivid tour through Ljubljana and a wander around Karst peaks and the coastline.

Slovenia resembles a splendid picture including a Karst landscape, rolling alpine slopes and cute small towns. It reminds us of a diverse mixture of the most beautiful sights that are combined into one small country. Into a country that visitors are wowed with and that is noted not only for its amazing landscape, but also for the friendly and welcoming locals, says Davey.

However, The Guardian newspaper organized a survey on Twitter, where users were questioned, what sorts of time-off they recommend to overburdened teachers. Among numerous replies, users recommended the city of Bled, a popular Slovenian alpine destination. Besides enjoying the restful break at Lake Bled, they also recommended them to visit the littoral city of Piran.
