Slovenia Ranks Third among Countries with Best Hotels

Slovenia is becoming more and more popular also because of its successful ranking on the scale of the Hotels.com website portal. Slovenia was ranked third among countries with best hotels. In tourist guide In Your Pocket the finest accommodations in Ljubljana were closely examined. Celica stands out among hostels, while Austria Trend is the best business hotel. Hotels.com, a popular website portal for booking hotels, placed Slovenia third in the world. Predominant part of the research was devoted to US hotels, but European hotels were also closely examined.

First place was taken by the Principality of Monaco, graded 4.4 (out of 5), followed by French Polynesia (4.3), third place is shared by Slovenia, the Turks and Caicos Islands and the Cayman Islands, graded 4.2. New Zealand, Ireland, Ecuador, Portugal, Austria and Bermuda were also ranked high (graded 4.1). The scale of countries with best hotels was formed on the basis of opinions of millions of users of the website, who booked their accommodation over their website. Price, general impression, friendliness of the staff and the agreeability of the hotel in general were taken into consideration.

At tourist guide In Your Pocket, a selection of the best hotels and accommodations in Slovenian capital was prepared. In Ljubljana, the most popular hotels are Austria Trend, Meksiko, Adora, Celica, Alo Rooms Vrbinc B & B, Kollmann and Pri Cesarju B & B. The accommodations in Ljubljana were striving to rank high in seven categories: best business hotels, best middle-class hotels, best boutique hotels, best hostels, best Garni hotels, best apartments and rooms, best hotels outside Ljubljana.
