The Slovenian capital was featured on the cover of the September issue of the British TTG, one of the most important weekly newspapers for the tourism industry. Ljubljana also won the prestigious European Green Capital Award 2016 this year.

The Slovenian capital was featured on the cover of the September issue of the British TTG, one of the most important weekly newspapers for the tourism industry. Ljubljana also won the prestigious European Green Capital Award 2016 this year.

Featuring Ljubljana on the cover of TTG is part of the positive publicity Slovenia has attracted as the proud host of this year`s ABTA Travel Convention 2014, an event that brought around 450 delegates from the British tourism industry to the capital.

The annual ABTA convention in Ljubljana is both a great recognition and a great opportunity for Slovenia and the Slovenian tourism sector, as the majority of British participants visited Slovenia for the first time. The theme of this year`s convention was The Power of Personal. Tourism enterprises that wish to continuing prospering in the future will have to focus not only on their products and services but also on their customers` experience. Customers response will dictate new adventures and new products.
