Trivago published charts of the most popular Slovenian hotels in the opinion of guests. Among the 5* luxury hotels the Kempinski Palace Portorož reigns, while the leading 4* hotel is the Cubo hotel in Ljubljana. The Celica Hostel, which attracts many visitors to the capital, is one of the most unusual hostels in the world according to The Active Times portal.

The popular portal Trivago published a chart of the best Slovenian hotels based on the opinions of international guests. More than 140 million opinions were collected from different web sources such as Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Expedia and others. The best 3* hotel as recommended by guests is the Miklič hotel right next to the ski slope in the idyllic Kranjska Gora. First place among the 4* hotels went to hotel Cubo in Ljubljana, and among the 5* luxury hotels to Kempinski Palace in Portorož.

The Celica hostel in Ljubljana is becoming more and more popular in the foreign media. The Active Times portal listed Celica as one of the most unusual and reasonably priced hostels in the world. The Celica Hostel, which is especially popular among hipsters, is located on the notorious Metelkova, a former squat and the current heaven of alternative night partying in the capital. The Celica Hostel is special mostly because it keeps alive the memory of being a former prison in its name (Celica - a prison cell) and in its design.
