Ljubljana - one of the worlds most sustainable destinations

Ljubljana is the green heart of SLOVEnia. For its abundance of green areas, vibrant town and care for the environment, it received the title of one of a hundred most sustainable tourist destinations in the world. Following voting on social networks, it also convinced 30 internationally renowned experts. Visit Ljubljana, European Green Capital 2016 and the only town awarded twice for the European Mobility Week.

The assessment and selection of the most sustainable destinations is an international incentive to spread and speed up sustainable tourism. It originated under the auspices of Green Destinations, TravelMole.com, Vision on Sustainable Tourism and Totem Tourism.
