New regular airline connections from Ljubljana to Stockholm

In March, Slovenia’s national carrier Adria Airways introduced the summer schedule, which will apply until the end of October. It is now possible to fly to 21 destinations from the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and to London from the Maribor Edvard Rusjan Airport. The schedule for summer was expanded in April with connections between Ljubljana and Stockholm and Ljubljana and Berlin.

Representatives of Adria Airways, the Tourism Sector of the public agency SPIRIT and the Slovenian Convention Bureau have presented the new airline connection between Ljubljana and Stockholm. The new line operates twice a week and is aimed at strengthening all links between the two countries. Adria Airways also presented the regular connection between Slovenia and Berlin. You can fly there from the Ljubljana airport on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.

At the launch of both regular airline connections from Ljubljana, Mark Anžur, President of the Management Board of Adria Airways, pointed to the importance of the expansion of the national flag carrier’s network in Europe: “We are happy that we have established regular airline connections with Stockholm and Berlin. As part of our strategy, we are striving to establish as many connections as possible between Slovenia and European cities. We are convinced that both regular airline connections will set a new milestone in recognisability and enable many opportunities for boosting cooperation in all areas, in particular in business, tourism and culture. This makes our offer or regular connections from Ljubljana to European capitals even more diverse. We believe that the new connections, in close cooperation with Aerodrom Ljubljana and SPIRIT Slovenia, will be a success story.”

The connections with Stockholm and Berlin are not the only news in Adria Airways summer schedule. Slovenia’s national carrier also recently launched a connection between Maribor and London, a connection between Albania’s Tirana and Brussels and Paris and a connection between Poland’s Lodž and Amsterdam six days a week. Slovenia is now even closer. Welcome!
