Slovenian Incoming Workshop - SIW 2015

The Slovenian Incoming Workshop – SIW is the largest business event of Slovenian tourism. Successful partnerships are being enhanced and new contacts are made at the Workshop at pre-agreed meetings with Slovenian tourism providers and foreign travel organisers. You are invited to BTC City in Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016, between 7-9 May.

Representatives of Slovenian tourism companies and organisations will meet their colleagues from abroad at the Slovenian Incoming Workshop. In addition to making valuable contacts, the Workshop will be a perfect opportunity to introduce tourist offers to operators and agents. More than 250 major players in the tourist sector from more than 30 countries will be meeting at the Workshop. Over 3,500 business meetings will be held over a period of three days. The host country will present its vision: “Green. Active. Healthy!” Slovenia, which foreign guests will become more familiar with on organised study tours.

The Slovenian Incoming Workshop will be held between 7 and 9 May at Ljubljana BTC City. The capital is located at the meeting point of Slovenia’s diversities and intertwining of love which the town and country contain in their names. The capital’s character is marked by Plečnik’s architecture and the symbol of the dragon with its legends. Museums, galleries, the Ljubljanica River and many summer festivals create the vibe of an urban centre, which is complemented with the development of business centres. One such centre is BTC City, the largest shopping centre in Slovenia, located on the northern outskirts of Ljubljana.
