Slovenia - a new member of PATA

Slovenia will be joining the exclusive elite of countries in the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). This is an important step in establishing business connections in the tourism industry, which highlights the growing popularity of Slovenia as a tourist and business destination. You are invited to this lovely country for your next holiday or business trip.

In March 2015, Slovenia was invited to join the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). In addition to raising the recognisability of Slovenia as a tourist and business destination, this is an excellent opportunity to make new tourist connections, business contacts and expand tourism potential to the Asia-Pacific region.

The members of PATA currently include 90 national, destination and tourist organisations, some 30 international air carriers, airports and shipping companies, many tourist companies from the Asia-Pacific region and educational institutions.

Slovenia received an honorary invitation to join PATA by Mario Hardy, Chief Executive Officer of the Association. During his visit to Slovenia, Mr Hardy will join the panel on tourism at the Strategic Forum held in idyllic Bled at the end of August.
