In the northwest of Slovenia, the emerald Soča emerges from the heart of the Julian Alps and becomes the sporting heart of the Soča valley. Explore the active land on foot on one of the hundreds of marked trails. Join organized hikes at the Hiking festival from 18th September to 4th October, and discover the beauties of nature as well as monuments from its rough and dark past, under the guidance of experienced guides. Walk along the Alpe Adria Trail, which connects Austria’s highest peak, Grossglockner, with the Adriatic Sea.
