The initiative to establish a world ice cream index was launched in May 2015 at IMEX Frankfurt. It was founded to celebrate and recognise the authentic experience that local ice cream shops offer to meeting and event participants at international meeting events. Top of the list was Slovenia with Lolita, followed by England (Giggi Gelateria in Bornemouth) and Iceland (Valdis from Reykjavik) in third place. The next SoolNua World ICECREAM Index will launch again at IMEX Frankfurt 2016.
