New Guinness World record with Slovenian Olympic athletes

Welcome the year 2016 with a new Guinness World record in the company of the Slovenian Olympic athletes. Over 5000 people will form a Circle of Friendship around lake Bled on the 30th December.

Tourism Bled, Olympic Committee of Slovenia - the Association of Sports Federations and the insurance company Adriatic Slovenica invite you to Bled to form the Circle of Friendship. The traditional event will join together Slovenian Olympic athletes, their supporters and sports enthusiasts. At On the first event in 1999, one day before the new millennium, 5000 people held hands and formed a circle around the Lake Bled. This year, the tradition continues and the organizers are attempting to make a new Guinness World record for the highest number of people holding hands at the same time. Join The Slovenian Olympic medal holders, the athletes from the Club of the Slovenian Olympians and the candidates for the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
