Chain of Sava Resorts breaks records

The Sava Hotels and Resorts Group is one of the largest chains of hotels and resorts in Slovenia. Natural health resorts and spas in Bled, Moravske Toplice, Ptuj, Radenci, Banovci and Lendava generated over 1.1 million overnight stays in 2015.

The Sava Hotels and Resorts Group is one of the largest chains of hotels and resorts in Slovenia. Natural health resorts and spas in Bled, Moravske Toplice, Ptuj, Radenci, Banovci and Lendava generated over 1.1 million overnight stays in 2015, which is a new record, 4% higher than the previous year. This successful business performance is the result of previous investments, excellent service and strategic future planning.

Overnight stays in hotels and apartments in 2015 reached a record number, and revenue growth increased in all the priority markets: Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Germany, overseas markets, and the markets of Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

Major investments in 2015, which amounted to 6.1 million EUR, included the renovation of hotel facilities in Hotel Radin in Terme Radenci and the Grand Hotel Toplice and the Hotel Park in Bled. Some rooms in the Hotel Ajda and Livada Prestige in Terme 3000-Moravske Toplice were also renovated. Another challenging project was the complete renovation of the Termal pool in Terme 3000 Moravske Toplice, including a special innovative product - The Crystal Way, which presents four stops with four different crystals. Visitors step on the them and feel their positive energy.

An innovative approach has also been applied to the gastronomic area in all Sava Tourism destinations, introducing more local products and raising public awareness about healthy eating. The winter season in Bled has been spiced up by the splendid ice skating rink on the terrace of the Hotel Park. The "Bled rink with a view" featured a series of entertaining events and received a very positive response from visitors. Furthermore, Sava Hotels & Resorts Ambassador loyalty programme is taking their dedicated services to the next level, promoting special attention and individual treatment for each member at all destinations.
