Between 9th and 13th March, Slovenia will be presented at the international ITB Berlin Tourism Bourse, one of the leading global tourism fairs, which focuses on the latest trends in tourism.

Between 9th and 13th March, Slovenia will be presented at the international ITB Berlin Tourism Bourse, one of the leading global tourism fairs, which focuses on the latest trends in tourism. Slovenia will be represented by the slogan “Green. Active. Healthy.” and marked by its natural water treasures. Welcome to the Slovenian exhibition space in Hall 17, Stand 109!

Slovenia will traditionally be showcased at ITB Berlin with its stand in Hall 17 under the slogan “Green. Active. Healthy.” This year’s presentation, the aspect of healthy waters, active holidays in Slovenia and Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016 will be emphasised. Two main partners will offer an exciting and interactive presentation: active holidays in the Soča Valley and “Heilende Wasser” (Healing water) in the Slovenian natural spas.

Under the auspices of the Slovenian Tourist Board, almost 30 Slovenian companies will be represented at the stand. Do not miss the opportunity to have a conversation or a business meeting with the stakeholders and decision makers of Slovenian tourism.

On 10th March, the Slovenian stand will be visited by a delegation from the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, headed by the Minister, Zdravko Počivalšek, who will join the key stakeholders in Slovenian tourism for brunch. You will be welcomed by Tourism Ljubljana, the tourist organization of the European Green Capital 2016. Following the eco-brunch there will be a presentation of the Slovenian green scheme in the framework of the Green Destination and presentation of Slovenia as a tourist destination in the Danube region. In the evening, join in a Slovenian evening, accompanied by wines and culinary specialities from Goriška region in western Slovenia.
