Slovenia celebrates Peter Prevc’s ski jumping achievements
This season Peter Prevc has experienced one success after another, thus ranking him as one of the best ski jumpers of all time. Discover what kind of adrenaline free-time activities help him to maintain his calm and focus.

"This is the biggest moment of my life, I have made it!" This is how Peter Prevc expressed his excitement after scoring 325.9 points at the Ski-Jumping World Cup event in Almaty, Kazakhstan, claiming his 19th career World Cup victory. This season he has experienced one success after another, thus ranking him as one of the best ski jumpers of all time. Discover what kind of adrenaline free-time activities help him to maintain his calm and focus.
He is certainly a one-of-a-kind ski jumper, extremely calm and focused. His success might be also the result of the adrenaline activities Peter likes to engage in during his free time. One of the most attractive adrenaline pleasures he often enjoys is zip lining. In case you might wonder what it is like to fly like Peter, experience the zip-line over the Planica Giant, the largest and steepest ski flying hill in the world. Another great adventure awaits you in Bovec, in the mesmerising Soča Valley, at the zip-line park. For more sky experiences Peter would recommend sky diving or paragliding. Both are very popular in Slovenia where numerous sports airports and take-off points offer unforgettable flying pleasures. However, if you are seeking one of the most adrenaline-fuelled experiences of your life, Peter would suggest aerial acrobatics with crazy manoeuvres in the air during a panoramic flight! To calm down after that, take a hike on one of the mountain trails of the Slovenian Alps, making a stop at Planica, where, for a number of years, the traditional finale of the Ski Jumping World Cup has taken place – this year from March 17-20. Peter is already looking forward to competing in Planica after this fantastic season; it is a legendary Slovenian festival which takes place close to the popular Kranjska Gora ski resort, where Peter may achieve another highlight of his career – the great Crystal Globe trophy at the final meeting of the season in Planica on 20th March.
