New brochure about Slovenian bike events 2016

Hiking and Biking Slovenia has published a new brochure, Let`s bike in Slovenia – Slovenia bike events 2016, which describes five of the largest biking events. Join the competitors at the Franja marathon in Ljubljana, Rekreatur in the Gorenjska region and the Istria bike marathon. For a bigger adrenaline rush, consider the mountain biking events the Black Hole Bike Festival in Carinthia, and the Soča Outdoor Festival in the Soča valley.

Cycling is one of the most popular activities in Slovenia. With numerous cycling trails, trans-Slovenian adventures and possibilities for city or mountain biking, our green, active and healthy country is a paradise for experiences on two wheels. Hiking and Biking Slovenia has published a new brochure, Let`s bike in Slovenia – Slovenia bike events 2016, which presents the major biking events in Slovenia:

* The Soča outdoor Festival 2016 is divided into two events: the Soča MTB Marathon on 14th May along the Soča river and the Soča Enduro race from 25th-26th June around Bovec.

* The Maraton Franja BTC City is a traditional recreational cycling festival which attracts more than 7,000 participants. It takes place from 10th-12th June, starting in Ljubljana.

* The Black Hole Bike Fest 2016 is an all mountain challenge in Carinthia, full of riding, racing and fun. Challenge yourself from 23rd-31st July.

* Rekreatur 2016 is a cycling event with a mixture of fun and the excitement of the race. Cycling around Slovenia will take place from 25th-28th August

* For cycling gourmets, the Istrian cycling Marathon will welcome you to Koper, Piran, Izola and Ankaran from 23rd-25th September
