In February, green, active and healthy Slovenia was successfully presented as a partnership destination at the International Fair of Tourism (IFT) in Belgrade. As a result, Slovenia received a lot of media attention as a tourist destination. The news was broadcast on the bigger Serbian TV shows and published in many different printed media.

Slovenia, under the auspices of the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB), and together with 17 tourist destinations and companies, was presented as a partner country in the central tourist fair, IFT, in Belgrade, which is considered the largest travel and tourism fair in south-east Europe. The partnership received a lot of media attention and many Serbian TV networks and printed media covered the successful collaboration. News about Slovenia and its beauty were broadcast on the following media networks:

* The daily news show Dnevnik 2

* The morning programme on RTS1, which is the most watched entertainment show, hosted by the popular TV host, Žika, on RTS1

* A specialised show about tourism, Knjiga utisaka (“The Book of Impressions”) on RTS2

* The local TV networks Studio B and TV KCN

* The regional news video service Infobiro, in the show Srbija koju volim (Serbia, that I Love)

The total duration of the media coverage was more than 30 minutes, and it provided key information to more than 1 million viewers in Serbia. The printed media was also a very important segment; Slovenia recorded 5 reportages, of which Večernje novosti and Danas together feature more than 200,000 printed copies. The estimated advertising value of more than 80 articles in the news is valued at around €257,000.
