Green, active and healthy Slovenia charmed Moscow

With music, words and exquisite culinary delights, Slovenia was presented at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow at the Slovenian evening. The selected Russian guests enjoyed the presentation of the land of healthy waters, offering unforgettable retreats in a green, active and healthy environment. Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016, was also in the spotlight.

The Slovenian delegation in Moscow included Zdravko Počivalšek, the Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Primož Šeliga, the Slovenian Ambassador in Russia, Maja Pak, the director of the Slovenian Tourism Board, and representatives of Slovenian tourism from Terme Olimia, Rimske terme, Terme Krka, Terme Čatež, Lifeclass Portorož, Hotel Sava Rogaška, the travel agencies Renee Tours and Kompas, and the destination Portorož-Piran.

Many guests in Slovenian natural spas and health resorts come from Russia. At the presentation in the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Moscow, the Russian guests got to know Slovenia as a country which relaxes body and mind, as well as an attractive destination for investments and organising events.

“The Russian market is one of the key markets for Slovenian tourism and it is important to nurture our relationship with our Russian business partners. Russian tourists are interested in high-quality packages. Their favourite places to enjoy themselves are Slovenian spas and natural health resorts. Russian guests appreciate the excellent programmes and beneficial effects of the thermal and mineral waters.” commented Maja Pak, the Director of the Slovenian Tourist Board.
