The British Foreign Office rates countries around the world for their safety to travellers. “Currently, Slovenia, Iceland and Malta are some of the European beauty spots, ripe with tourism, that are still considered low risk.” claimed the latest report of the British Foreign Office. Visit green, active and healthy Slovenia, with its numerous possibilities to create new memories, whether in vibrant cities or unspoilt nature.

At this time of year many tourists and travellers are choosing the destinations of their next journey or summer holiday. Recently Slovenia was named a safe country to travel to by the British Foreign Office and travel experts. They rate countries around the world, with a special focus on European countries. Slovenia ranked in the top ten on the list of the safest places to visit around the world, with around 100,000 British visitors per year.

Green, active and healthy Slovenia has already been listed in the top places in the global index of peace (Global Peace Index), which is measured based on the amount of internal conflict, protests, and level of crime, as well as on external international relationships of the country and other parameters.
