Looking for the most innovative tourism achievement

The Slovenian Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Bank of Tourism Potentials in Slovenia, have launched the Sejalec (Sower) award for the recognition of creative and innovative achievements in tourism. For the 13th consecutive year, Slovenian tourism professionals are looking for already-completed tourism products which contribute to the greater visibility of Slovenia as a tourist destination.

Slovenia has been working hard over the years to stimulate innovative products in Slovenian tourism. Many outstanding tourism achievements make a visit to our green, active and healthy country an unforgettable experience. Since 2004, Slovenia has been encouraging the promotion of the most innovative tourism products through the Sejalec (Sower) award. The winner of last year’s Sejalec award was the Garden Village Bled, accompanied by the finalists of Forest Wellness and the Trnulja organic country estate.

This year, the applicants have until 13th June to apply and submit a detailed description of their innovative products, if they developed their business ideas in 2014 or 2015. The applications will be evaluated by a 10-member expert committee and the winners will be announced at the Days of Slovenian Tourism in October.
