The largest karst phenomena in green, active and healthy Slovenia, Postojna Cave is proud of its 200-year tradition in tourism, during which time it has hosted more than 36 million visitors. In this time, it has achieved great business results, which were presented at the press conference on Thursday. The CEO of Postojna Cave, Marjan Batagelj, emphasised the business highlights of the last two years:

* In early June, guests will be welcomed to the renovated Hotel Jama, which will have 80 rooms, 180 beds and will employ 40 people;

* Since January, the female olm has been thrilling the public with her batch of eggs, which is a rare phenomenon. The embryos are now between 17 and 18 millimeters long and already have visible eye pigment and beating hearts. Over 60 “baby dragons” are nearly ready to hatch!
