Portorož features new 5* hotel Slovenija

The hotel chain, LifeClass Hotels & Spa, in Portorož opened a renovated Hotel Slovenia. The hotel, situated on the Slovenian coast offers a new luxurious experience in a setting rich with seven hundred years of history, and a landscape characterised by the magnificent white salt crystals produced in the Sečovlje salt pans. The renovation cost around six million euros and is a part of a business strategy from LifeClass Hotels & Spa.

The completely renovated 5* Hotel Slovenija is situated on the seafront promenade in Portorož, a famous Slovenian seaside resort. Just a few steps away from the hotel you can go for a swim in the beautifully clean and warm Adriatic Sea where the temperatures in summer can get up to 28°C.

The renovation of the hotel cost nine million euros and represents the biggest investment in tourism in the Slovenian Istria since 2008. Renovation is a part of the LifeClass Hotels & Spa investment in the development of Mediterranean anti-aging Resorts. The strategy is based on the natural features of the local environment and a healthy climate that is especially rich in health-giving ions. Portorož is located between two saltpans, the Strunjan and Sečovlje saltpans, which further contribute to the beneficial air conditions in the area.
