Great satisfaction at Slovenian Incoming workshop

The largest business event in Slovenian tourism, the Slovenian Incoming workshop (SIW), took place in June at Terme Čatež. The Slovenian Tourist Board conducted a small survey of the satisfaction of the foreign and domestic participants; of the foreign respondents, 99% were satisfied (29%) or very satisfied (70%) with the event.

The level of satisfaction with business events is an important measure of success for the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB). After the Slovenian Incoming Workshop (SIW) at Terme Čatež, STB conducted an online survey of the participants. Half of the 176 foreigners completed the survey and the results show that 99% of the respondents were satisfied or very satisfied with the event. Domestic and foreign partners gave the most positive assessment of the organisation, workshops, SIW team, study tours, professionalism, hospitality and the great atmosphere at the event, while making new contacts.

According to the feedback, the greatest interest of the foreign partners, tourist agencies and tour operators is in city and cultural tourism (72%), wellness and spa tourism (70%), active vacations (49%) and green tourism (46%). The greatest interest (related to the number of participants in individual markets) is from Germany, followed by the Czech Republic, Russia, Belgium, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands. Of the Slovenian participants at the Slovenian Incoming Workshop, 45% perceived a higher demand than in the previous years.
