The trail of Slovenian soldiers from WWI still leads to a hidden hospital; the Franja Partisan Hospital is a cultural monument of national importance, and is listed on UNESCO`s Tentative List of World Heritage Sites. Thanks to its symbolic value in history, the Franja Hospital received the European Heritage label in 2015.
