Slovenian natural health resorts more popular than ever

Green, active and healthy Slovenia is rich in natural thermal and mineral springs. You can enjoy their benefits in natural spas and health resorts all over the country. In the first months of the summer, the Slovenian Spas Association recorded a 14% increase in the number of overnight stays by foreign tourists. They almost equal the number of domestic guests, who made 100,000 overnight stays In July.

In addition to domestic visitors, a big contribution to the good business results of Slovenian natural spas and health resorts was made by guests from Austria, as the number of their stays continues to grow. The greatest number of guests still come from Italy, representing 21.3% of all overnight stays. There is a growing number of guests from Croatia, which are currently in third place, as well as visitors from the Russian Federation. Israeli travellers are currently in sixth place, right behind those from Germany.

And what are the main reasons for the excellent visitor numbers in Slovenian natural spas? Investments in the quality of the range offered, preparation of programmes adapted to various target groups, appropriate pricing policy with daily monitoring of availability, excellent knowledge of the market segments, and the visibility of this leading Slovenian tourist product. Slovenian Natural Spas is continuously striving to achieve better results, which are the basis for new investments in quality, infrastructure and programmes for increasingly demanding and well-informed guests.
