Gorenjska and Glamping in your heart

Glamorous camping, also known as glamping, combines the best comfort as close as possible to nature in a most spectacular way. Enjoy your glamping experience at one of the many luxury campsites in the Gorenjska region in the heart of the Julian Alps, less than an hour’s drive from Ljubljana. Have a fairytale holiday by Lake Bled in small wooden huts called Gozdne vile, and drink your morning coffee while gazing at the alpine lake where Slovenia’s only island rises gently above the water.

Increasingly popular glamorous camping is the perfect holiday choice for those who want to experience unspoilt nature and yet enjoy comfortable accommodation with a luxurious touch. Green, active and healthy Slovenia offers some top end glamping resorts all over the country, but the stunning Alpine peaks, emerald waters, lakes and vast forests of Gorenjska make it a perfect glamping destination.

Garden Village Bled is an eco-tourism green resort which offers unique accommodation in tree houses, pier tents, glamping tents with a wooden hot tub, and luxury apartments. The resort has a green restaurant, small gardens with home-grown crops in front of every tent, and a sauna in the form of a bird´s nest. Bled also has another glamping resort, Gozdne Vile, that will amaze you. The Gozdne Vile huts are constructed from organically grown, untreated larch wood, and they all have their own wooden hot tub to spice up even the coldest evenings. In addition, halfway between Bled and Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016, you can find peace in a small private glamping resort, Pr’ Bizjak. Be ready only for one thing – after experiencing glamping, Gorenjska will surely find its way into your heart.
