The program of the tourism panel: Security and Sustainability in Tourism is published, along with the speakers and participants in the round table, here.

Tourism depends greatly on global security and tourists need the assurance of security at every step they take. Today, the concept of sustainability is more topical than ever before: balanced environmental, social, economic and climatic aspects of life are, in addition to political stability, essential for the provision of security and the successful development of tourism. Slovenia is considered a safe country and a green tourist destination from both the viewpoint of global indices and the perception of citizens, including actual and potential tourists. Sustainability is a gratifying topic of communication; however, communication regarding the security of a state poses a challenge.
