Kranjska Gora and the organisers are ready for the men’s Alpine Skiing World Cup races. The course is in excellent condition and all medal winners from the recent Winter Olympic Games are expected to compete. With sunny weather forecast for the weekend, fans are in for a spectacular sporting atmosphere. Special ticket prices are also available in celebration of International Women’s Day.

The Vitranc Cup is one of Slovenia’s most prestigious ski competitions, annually bringing the world’s top giant slalom and slalom skiers to Kranjska Gora.

The races take place on the Podkoren slope, renowned for its demanding course and electrifying atmosphere. Combining sporting excellence, long-standing tradition and vibrant entertainment, the event offers an unforgettable experience for both competitors and spectators.

On home snow, Slovenian giant slalom ace Žan Kranjec will look to capitalise on his knowledge of the course and aim for a long-awaited podium finish. In preparation, the Slovenian team has spent several days training both on the race course and on the parallel slope beneath the chairlift.

Held in Slovenia’s winter sports capital, Kranjska Gora, the Vitranc Cup is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the winter season in Slovenia.
