Terme Snovik Marks 24 Years with a New Visual Identity and Plans for NaturHotel Snovik

Terme Snovik, the highest-lying thermal spa resort in Slovenia, is celebrating 24 years of continuous operation in 2026. With the unveiling of a new visual identity and the presentation of its largest development and investment project to date – NaturHotel Snovik 4* Superior – the resort is symbolically opening a new chapter in its long-term development .

From the construction of the first pilot pool in 1994 to the opening of the covered pool complex in 2002, Terme Snovik has gradually evolved into a recognised sustainable wellness destination. Its development has been shaped by high-quality medicinal thermal water, the principles of the Kneipp philosophy, and a strong connection with nature and the local environment.

A New Visual Identity for a New Development Phase

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Terme Snovik also introduced a new corporate visual identity. Rather than a departure from its roots, the redesign represents an evolution and unification of the brand for the upcoming development phase. The renewal is both aesthetic and strategic, closely linked to the resort’s largest investment cycle to date.

NaturHotel Snovik 4* Superior Opens in May 2026

The most important development milestone in the history of Terme Snovik is the construction of NaturHotel Snovik 4* Superior, which is set to welcome its first guests in May 2026. The hotel will feature 72 rooms, all with terraces and views of the surrounding nature, direct access to thermal pools and wellness facilities, a hotel wellness centre with a new pool and saunas, an enhanced gastronomic offer, and a congress centre for up to 350 participants.

With this investment, Terme Snovik is also entering the field of sustainable congress tourism, further diversifying its year-round offer. The entire investment is aligned with Slovenia’s national tourism strategy and the tourism strategy of the Kamnik destination, strengthening the existing “green – healthy – active” positioning of the resort .

Sustainability as a Constant, Not a Trend

Terme Snovik has been using 100% renewable energy sources since 2007 and holds internationally recognised environmental certificates, including the EU Ecolabel and Slovenia Green. The new investment follows the highest ecological and energy standards, incorporating wood construction (CLT), energy-efficient systems, a reduced carbon footprint and the development of year-round tourism content.

On its 24th anniversary, Terme Snovik is not closing a chapter, but opening a new one – with a renewed identity, a clearly defined development vision and the imminent opening of NaturHotel Snovik, which will play an important role in shaping the future of the Tuhinj Valley, the Kamnik destination and Slovenia’s sustainable tourism landscape.
