Ljubljana Airport Welcomes Its Millionth Passenger of 2025

Ljubljana Airport has celebrated an important milestone, welcoming its millionth passenger earlier than in 2024. By the end of 2025, more than 1.5 million passengers are expected to pass through the airport.

Earlier than in 2024, Ljubljana Airport has already welcomed its millionth passenger of the year, underscoring both the airport’s dynamic growth and Slovenia’s expanding air connectivity. The millionth passenger, traveling to Amsterdam, was surprised with a special gift – two complimentary tickets from KLM.

Supported by new routes and additional flight frequencies, this achievement strengthens the airport’s role as the country’s main gateway for international visitors. By the end of 2025, passenger numbers are expected to exceed 1.5 million, with new direct connections to Las Palmas, Manchester, and Barcelona further broadening travel opportunities.
