Explore Lake Bled With Ease: Free Buses and New Central Parking This Summer

Visitors heading to Lake Bled during the 2025 summer season can once again enjoy free public bus connections and take advantage of new and improved parking facilities, including the opening of a central parking area near the Bledec Sports Park on 4 July 2025.

New Central Parking Lot Just 10 Minutes from the Lake

The new central parking area, located a short 10-minute walk from the town center and slightly further from the popular swimming area in Velika Zaka, offers 231 parking spaces for cars, including 6 for electric vehicles and 11 designated spots for people with disabilities. The new lot aims to reduce congestion closer to the lake while still keeping key sites within easy reach.

Additional Parking for Motorcyclists and Free Options Nearby

A new parking scheme was also introduced this year in the Zdraviliški Park, featuring 40 motorcycle spaces and 4 accessible spots, with no time limit on parking. Visitors can also use the free municipal parking area in Betin, offering 65 spaces.

All Parking Info in One Place

To improve the user experience, the Municipality of Bled has launched a new online platform that consolidates all information about public parking in the area. The website parking.bled.si features a map of available parking lots, price details, and allows visitors to purchase seasonal permits online.
