Bled’s Refurbished Rowing Centre Enhances Local Infrastructure

On April 10, Bled celebrated the opening of its renovated rowing centre. The upgrade to the Mala Zaka lakeside area includes refurbished piers and new infrastructure to boost tourism and recreation.

Bled, one of Slovenia's most iconic destinations, recently unveiled its newly renovated rowing centre, marking a significant milestone in the Popolni Zavesljaj project. The opening on April 10 showcased a revitalized lakeside area in Mala Zaka, featuring upgraded piers, rehabilitated shorelines and enhanced infrastructure to elevate the region's appeal for both locals and tourists. This development is a part of Bled's broader vision to provide high-quality recreational spaces while promoting sustainable tourism.

In addition to this impressive upgrade, Bled continues to offer visitors unique experiences, such as the Slovenia Unique Experience: Rowing with Olympic Rowers on Lake Bled. This exceptional experience allows guests to row alongside Olympic champions, taking on one of the world’s most picturesque rowing courses while gaining insights from top athletes. The experience is available throughout the year, giving guests a chance to enjoy 3 hours of immersive rowing activity in one of Slovenia’s most breathtaking locations.
