Experience Spring in Slovenia's Historical Towns: Authentic Adventures for Every Taste

The Association of Historical Towns of Slovenia invites you to embark on a memorable spring journey to Slovenia’s historic towns with the Experience Spring campaign, running from March 31 to May 18.

This seasonal celebration showcases an array of authentic experiences across the country’s historical charming towns, offering something for everyone – from the ancient skills of master craftsmen to exceptional wine tastings and unforgettable family adventures.

Experience Spring with the Masters: Craftsmanship Through the Ages

This spring, step back in time and connect with the heritage that has shaped Slovenia’s historic towns. Participate in hands-on craft workshops where ancient techniques meet modern creativity, and create your own souvenirs. In Črnomelj, try your hand at painting traditional Bela Krajina Easter eggs, while in Ribnica, weave baskets from willow twigs. Learn the art of making Loka honey bread in Škofja Loka, knead Bela Krajina flatbread in Metlika, or fire up the potter’s wheel in Šentjur. Discover Plečnik’s candle-making traditions in Kamnik and embrace your creativity in the Božidar Jakac Gallery in Kostanjevica na Krki.

These unique experiences are not just workshops – they are journeys into Slovenia’s rich craftsmanship heritage, allowing you to create lasting memories while supporting the masters who preserve it.
