Winter Wonderland in Pohorje: 70 km of Snowy Adventures, 4 Top Ski Resorts, and 1 Ski Pass

Get ready for an unforgettable winter in Pohorje as the 2024/2025 season kicks off with exciting upgrades designed to enhance every skier’s experience. The region's four exceptional ski resorts – Mariborsko Pohorje, Rogla, Kope and Jakec Trije Kralji – are now connected with a single ski pass, granting access to 70 kilometres of pistes.

From thrilling night skiing to state-of-the-art new lifts, Pohorje offers something for everyone. Convenient public transport options and newly introduced routes highlight Pohorje’s commitment to sustainability and preserving its pristine natural environment. Whether you're a seasoned skier or a first-timer, Pohorje promises a winter filled with adventure, comfort, and eco-friendly fun.

In recent years, all four ski resorts in Pohorje have undergone extensive infrastructure modernization and slope enhancements to provide skiers with an unparalleled winter experience. Among the highlights is a new 6-seater chairlift on Rogla, equipped with heated and covered seats, as well as a state-of-the-art snowmaking system, ensuring optimal conditions for skiers. On Areh, the new 4-seater Ruška chairlift guarantees faster transport, while Kope and Jakec Trije Kralji have introduced new lifts, increasing both capacity and comfort.

A unique highlight is the shared ski pass, allowing skiers to explore all four resorts over four consecutive days. This pass not only offers access to diverse slopes but also includes refreshments at Kope and Jakec Trije Kralji, adding an extra touch of hospitality to the skiing adventure.

Pohorje’s accessibility has also been significantly improved, thanks to initiatives by the Partnership for Pohorje. A regular bus service now links Zreče to Rogla, while the Pohorje funicular connects Maribor to Bellevue, offering fast and comfortable access to the mountain. The traditional ski bus connection from Bellevue to Areh remains a beloved fixture.

Beyond skiing, Pohorje invites visitors to enjoy a variety of winter activities, including sledging, cross-country skiing, ski touring and winter hiking. Families will find plenty to do, while those seeking relaxation can indulge in wellness packages and promotions designed to rejuvenate both body and mind after an active day in the snow.

With world-class facilities, diverse winter adventures and seamless connectivity, Pohorje truly offers a winter wonderland for skiers and families alike.
