Slovenia's First Chocolate Museum Opens in Ljubljana

The Chocolarium, Slovenia’s first chocolate museum, has opened in Ljubljana, offering visitors an exciting experience into the world of chocolate. The museum showcases the history of chocolate, features tastings and hosts creative workshops where guests can craft their own chocolate creations.

The Chocolarium, Slovenia's first chocolate museum, spans over 1,000 square metres and offers an engaging, hands-on experience that takes visitors through the cocoa production and processing journey. Notable features include a slide connecting the two floors, a "chocolate jungle" where visitors explore the transformation from cocoa beans to chocolate and chocolate fountains for tastings.

Designed by the creators of Čokoladnica Cukrček, the museum highlights Slovenian chocolate-making traditions and promotes sustainable cocoa production. Special workshops for children and adults are held on weekends, where participants can create their own chocolate masterpieces.

The museum is open daily, offering a unique opportunity to dive into the sweet world of chocolate.
