The Slovenia Outdoor Association and the Slovenian Ski Lift Association showcased remarkable results from transforming traditional ski resorts into vibrant, year-round destinations. For the upcoming 2024/2025 winter season, these mountain resorts are poised to captivate skiers and outdoor enthusiasts alike with newly modernized facilities and innovative offer. This commitment to sustainable tourism development further solidifies Slovenia’s position as a leader in both eco-friendly travel and year-round outdoor adventure.

Slovenia’s mountain resorts recorded a significant increase in visitor numbers in summer season of 2024, following extensive investments aimed at expanding their appeal beyond the winter season. These resorts saw a 30% rise in transport usage over the previous year, hitting a major milestone with 1 million transports. The number of visitors also surged, with half a million guests—a 20% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

For the 2024/2025 winter season, several different ski and cross-country ski passes will be available:

  • Single-Season Ski Pass: Valid for all participating ski resorts.
