Explore Slovenia: New Media Kit Debuts at WTM London

The new media kit, shared with media representatives alongside Slovenia’s general tourist brochure, will be available in a printed edition at the World Travel Market in London from 5 to 7 November. The Slovenian Tourist Board has woven arts and culture – the central theme for 2024 and 2025 – into exciting stories celebrating Slovenia’s vibrant cities, historic places and inviting spaces, all tailored to resonate with international audiences.

The media kit highlights Slovenia’s must-attend events for 2025, including GO!25, the European Capital of Culture in Nova Gorica & Gorizia, and the Art Vital exhibition, which explores the 12-year collaboration between Ulay and Marina Abramović. Compelling articles connect Slovenia’s heritage with contemporary creativity, showcasing everything from the world’s oldest wooden bicycle to advancements in space technologies.

Presented in an engaging magazine style, the media kit spotlights Slovenia’s top tourism offer. The nation’s sporting spirit shines through a feature on the Slovenian tourism ambassadors' campaign for the Olympic Games, titled “It’s All in Our Nature”. Readers can delve into Slovenia’s exceptional nature, learning about guided wilderness excursions and natural healing sites. A focus on sustainable event planning reflects Slovenia’s commitment to environmentally friendly gatherings, while gastronomy is celebrated as a core part of the nation’s culture. Digital innovation in tourism also takes centre stage, with highlights on audio storytelling, the AI assistant Alma and a newly launched sports and tourism portal.

The media kit is published in English, with 1,000 printed copies and an online version for worldwide access.
