The grand spectacle of international sports, the Olympic Games, now in their XXXIII edition, returns to the cosmopolitan charm of Paris after many years. For a few weeks this summer, the European capital of culture, fashion, romance and cuisine will also become the epicentre of world sports. Paris will be teeming with elite athletes from across the globe, all striving to fulfill their Olympic dreams.

Among them will be proud Slovenian Olympians and Paralympians, representing the vibrant colours of Slovenia. Preparations for this prestigious competition are in full swing at the Olympic Committee of Slovenia – Association of Sports Federations. The Slovenian delegation continues to grow daily, and we eagerly watch as our athletes persistently meet Olympic standards, igniting the Olympic spirit within us. On Thursday, the final list of athletes who will lead the Slovenian national team to Paris was revealed in Koper.
