Raiven's Eurovision Postcard: Capturing Celje's Charm

Against the backdrop of Celje's historic landmarks, including Celje Castle, Josip Pelikan's glass photography studio, the City Under the City in the Regional Museum, the Celje Technopark and Krekov Square, where Raiven's path crossed with that of the legendary world traveller Alma M. Karlin, Raiven's Eurovision postcard pays homage to the city's rich history, intertwined with the legendary figure of Veronika Deseniška.

Raiven's choice of Celje for the Eurovision postcard filming reflects the deep connection between the city's heritage and her music, as she delves into the multifaceted story of Veronika Deseniška and draws inspiration from Celje's profound historical significance.

"I am increasingly realising that the story of Veronika Deseniška has many dimensions and that Celje as a city is a living monument to these stories. One of the most interesting sites I visited was the Regional Museum, where the last resting place of the Counts of Celje is located. It is a special experience - like gazing into the eyes of history," Raiven recalled.
