Exciting News: airBaltic Launches Direct Flights from Ljubljana to Riga

The first airBaltic flight from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport to Riga is scheduled for Thursday, April 25.

Exciting News: airBaltic Launches Direct Flights from Ljubljana to Riga

This new direct route connecting Riga to Ljubljana and back has been made possible in part by the Minister of Infrastructure's decision to grant the carrier subsidies for airport charges at Ljubljana Airport. This initiative is one of the first steps taken to enhance air connectivity in Slovenia. airBaltic will operate twice-weekly flights between Slovenia and Latvia.

All services available in the 2024 summer timetable are scheduled to operate at the following frequencies: 

  • Aegean Airlines twice weekly to Athens,
  • airBaltic twice weekly to Riga,
  • Air Montenegro three times weekly to Podgorica and three times weekly to Tivat,
  • Air France up to ten times a week to Paris,
  • Air Serbia 16 times weekly to Belgrade and twice weekly to Niš,
  • British Airways daily to London Heathrow,
  • Brussels Airlines daily to Brussels,
  • easyJet six times weekly to London Gatwick,
  • flydubai four times a week to Dubai,
  • Finnair four times a week to Helsinki,
  • GP Aviation twice weekly to Pristina,
  • Iberia twice weekly to Madrid,
  • Israir three times a week to Tel Aviv,
  • LOT Polish Airlines nine times weekly to Warsaw,
  • Lufthansa three times daily to Frankfurt and twice daily to Munich,
  • Luxair twice weekly to Luxembourg,
  • Norwegian twice weekly to Copenhagen,
  • SWISS Airlines eleven times weekly to Zurich,
  • Transavia four times a week to Amsterdam,
  • Transavia France four times a week to Paris, Orly,
  • Turkish Airlines twice daily to Istanbul and
  • Wizz Air three times a week to Skopje.
