Michelin explores Ljubljana's culinary scene

In the light of the November Gourmet Ljubljana Festival, Michelin journalist Sarah Scaparone explores the culinary gems of the Slovenian capital. Three newcomers to the Michelin guide for Slovenia in 2023 — AFTR, Breg, and Georgie Bistro — take centre stage in this gastronomic journey

November is an ideal month for exploring Slovenian food and wine, with the November Gourmet festival showcasing the capital's rich culinary scene through more than 60 events.

In the latest article, Michelin invites you to visit various experiences, including the Slovenia Unique Experience "Yummy Market Walk", where the vibrant energy of the local atmosphere comes alive. They also invite you to visit the Broken Bones distillery or relish the authenticity of a typical Slovenian beer at the local brewery. The culinary journey continues with a tempting brunch at AFTR, an evening of exquisite dining at Bistro Mala Terasa, or an exclusive gathering of chefs and guests at Rashuska.
