New in Škofja Loka: Lonca Hotel

Hotel Lonca, a new hotel in Škofja Loka, has been refurbished with the vision of meeting the escalating demands for accommodations in both the tourism and business sectors of Škofja Loka. Committed to environmental sustainability, the renovation utilized locally-sourced materials, embodying a contemporary approach to eco-conscious hospitality.

Strategically positioned at Kapucinski trg, the hotel is easily accessible and on-site parking is available as well. What is more, it lies within strolling distance of Škofja Loka's major attractions, such as the medieval city and the castle. Thanks to its geographic richness, the area offers a number of year-round leisure activities. In winter, you can ski at Stari vrh, Soriška planina and Cerkno and in the summer, you can go hiking and cycling in the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The lobby bar, characterized by modern design and a relaxed ambiance, serves as an ideal spot for unwinding and socializing. For private conversations or business meetings, the hotel provides a well-equipped private room on the ground floor and a state-of-the-art conference room spanning 40 square meters, equipped with cutting-edge technology.

Hotel Lonca is co-owned by renowned Slovenian cyclist Luka Mezgec, which is why the hotel's facilities focus on this aspect as well. Located in the basement, you will find Finnish and bio-Finnish saunas, as well as a cutting-edge fitness centre.

Guests can kickstart their day in the breakfast room, relishing a selection of high-quality, locally-sourced dishes while enjoying a picturesque view of the old town.

To explore the surroundings, guests can rent regular and e-bikes as well as an electric car, all conveniently available at the hotel.
