Slovenia's unique NFT experience in the Julian Alps showcased at City Nation Place Global

Following the WTM, the City Nation Place Global conference took place in London. On Thursday, November 9, the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) presented the Ultimate Julian Alps Sensory Experience as part of a panel on digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence in tourism.

City Nation Place Global stands as one of the most prestigious and significant conferences worldwide, focusing on best practices in tourism, brand management, and reputation building. On Thursday, November 9, the representative of the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB), Aleksandra Lipej, presented the "Ultimate Julian Alps Sensory Experience" during a panel discussion on digitalization and the application of artificial intelligence in tourism.

This project, a collaborative effort between the STB and the Julian Alps, illustrates how an exclusive digital souvenir can transform into a one-of-a-kind adventure. In May 2023, 15 distinguished foreign media representatives, each in possession of an exclusive NFT digital souvenir, exchanged it for the Ultimate Julian Alps Sensory Experience. Additionally, the event served as a poignant reminder of the significance of adopting a responsible approach to nature, highlighting the issue of endangered plant and animal species in the Julian Alps, including the Alpine mynah and wild rooster.
