Slovenia Green wins yet another prestigious award
On September 15, the 7th awards ceremony of the "Terres Travel Festival" took place. Among the award winners was also the Slovenia Green documentary, showcasing Slovenia's commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly tourism.
The 7th awards ceremony of the Terres Travel Festival celebrating the art of tourism filmmaking in Catalonia and Spain. This exceptional gathering, known as the only specialized tourist film festival in the region, was held in the charming Spanish city of Tortosa. The star of the night was the Slovenia Green promotional documentary, which once again found itself in the limelight, securing two prestigious awards:
- Award for the Best Sustainability Promotion Film (TERRES DE L'EBRE AWARD)
- Award for the Best Short Film
This year, Slovenia Green has already won four awards, showcasing its remarkable impact and recognition. In addition to its most recent accolades, the film earned a gold award at the 5th World Tourism Film Festival in Japan and a silver award at the US International Awards in the tourism documentary category.
Slovenia Green marks a milestone as the first long promotional-documentary film produced by the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB), a collaborative effort with the talented Karata Film production team. The 28-minute film artfully narrates the green story of Slovenia through the journey of its main protagonist, complemented by the voices of the locals, representing Slovenian tourist destinations and providers. These remarkable individuals are encountered on a captivating cycling journey, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of Slovenia's sustainable tourism. All providers and destinations featured in the film are part of the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism and the celebrated Slovenia Green Gourmet Route cycling route.
