The current situation in camps across Slovenia

Recent storms in certain regions of Slovenia over the past weekend also caused damage to campsites and glamping accommodations. However, during the week, conditions have calmed down, so the majority of campsites across Slovenia are operating normally and are open for guests and reservations. The exception is the campsites along the Savinja River, which have suffered more extensive damage, and the campsites in the Kamnik Bistrica Valley due to inaccessibility. We are monitoring the current conditions in collaboration with the Campsites Association of Slovenia, and we regularly update the information. All campers are invited to enjoy a vacation in harmony with nature. Campsites can be found in every corner of Slovenia.

The current situation in camps across Slovenia

Most campsites in Slovenia are operating normally and inviting visitors to enjoy a vacation in touch with nature.

Some issues were experienced by campsites in the vicinity of Bled and Bohinj, but conditions have quickly improved. The Terme Čatež campsite is also welcoming guests again, with outdoor pools and some indoor pools already open.

However, if you were planning to visit campsites in the Savinja Valley and the Kamnik Bistrica Valley, please pay special attention.

SAVINJA VALLEY

Most campsites along the Savinja River (from Latkova vas upwards to Mozirje, Rečica ob Savinji, Ljubno, and Solčava) are closed. They are dealing with the aftermath of floods and storms, apologizing for any lack of responsiveness and thanking you for your understanding.

As conditions improve and the situation changes, we recommend checking information about campsite visits on the campgrounds' websites or on social media.

The "Kamp Prodnik" in Juvanje near Ljubno ob Savinji is also OPEN. More information is available here as well.

Forest Camping Mozirje is OPEN.

The FOLLOWING CAMPSITES ARE CLOSED:

KAMNIŠKA BISTRICA VALLEY

At Slovenia Eco Resort, the restaurant and glamping accommodations are operating normally, while the rest of the resort is undergoing cleaning and is expected to resume operation from Friday, August 11th onwards.

Kamp Resnik (POD SKALO) is OPEN.

Access to Kamp Kraljevi hrib is currently unavailable.

CAMPSITES CAN BE FOUND IN EVERY PART OF SLOVENIA

There are around 117 campsites in Slovenia, spread throughout the country. Each region has campsites that stand out based on star ratings, awards, sustainability orientation, or popularity.
