Fans of the popular fantasy series, The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill as Geralt, based on the book and video game franchise, can now embark on their own real-life adventures by visiting the filming locations. Enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the world of Geralt of Rivia and explore the breathtaking settings seen on the show.

One of the notable locations featured in the series is Slovenian Predjama Castle. The 800-year-old medieval castle, known for its network of secret tunnels, was captured on camera during filming. Instagram enthusiasts have contributed to its popularity, with over 31,000 hashtags dedicated to the castle. The nearby Postojna Cave may have also been utilized for the series. The combined tour ticket, priced at €41.50, allows visitors to explore both the castle and the cave, offering an immersive experience for avid fans.

In addition to Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave, The Witcher was filming in Kranjska Gora and at the St. Jerome's church on the top of the Nanos plateau, the most popular hiking trail in the Vipava Valley.

Tudor Turiceanu, CEO of CasinoAlpha, expressed his appreciation for the production team's choice to incorporate real locations, as it adds authenticity to the fantasy world. He also highlighted the positive impact such productions have on local economies, attracting tourists who wish to experience the magic of their favorite shows firsthand. For Witcher enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike, these real-life filming locations provide a unique opportunity to step into the world of Geralt and his companions, bridging the gap between fiction and reality.
