At this year's World Media Festival in Hamburg, three top prizes were awarded to the Slovenian Tourist Board among 156 entries in the Tourism & Travel Media Awards category.

Three top prizes were awarded to the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) at this year's World Media Festival in Hamburg. Among 156 entries in the Tourism & Travel Media Awards category, gold prizes were awarded to the printed general guide to Slovenia, a media campaign to promote Slovenia during a Tour de France, and Feel sLOVEni@ Online Training.

Slovenia. My Way of Experiencing the World. general printed brochure, which won gold in the Corporate Print Media category, is the main promotional brochure used to present Slovenia at events around the world. Through invitations by top athletes, award-winning chefs and creators of unique experiences, the brochure invites readers to visit the green land of boutique tourism. The very same brochure has already been awarded the top Golden City Gate prize at this year's ITB Berlin.

The Twitter Amplify Sponsorship campaign, implemented by the STB in partnership with Tadej Pogačar and A.S.O., the organisers of the Tour de France, won the Gold Award in the category of Media Campaigns and Social Media. The campaign, which already boasts a Gold Award for Performance with Global Reach from SoMo Advertising 2023 and a Silver Award at the BalCannes 2023 Festival, has achieved more than 12 million views of three different videos, 83 thousand clicks on and 110 thousand interactions in 16 European markets, as well as in the USA and Canada. Twitter highlighted it on its official website as a success story.

The Feel sLOVEni@ Online Training platform was also awarded gold in Hamburg in the Website Category. The innovative online training enables foreign tour operators and travel agents to virtually discover Slovenia at their own pace. After familiarising themselves with a variety of online materials and passing tests, they can become an "I feel Slovenia Certified Expert". Last year, the platform was awarded the Golden City Gate 2022 Silver Award and won second place for innovative virtual communication at Websi 2022.

The award-winning works are now in the online Hall of Fame. The Hamburg Festival is renowned for rewarding excellence in television, film, web and print production on an international scale. The judges assess the quality of the works on the basis of creativity and effectiveness, with a particular focus on achieving the objectives and target groups.
