More than 100,000 subscribers to Stories from Slovenia

The monthly Stories from Slovenia newsletter is one of the key communication channels of the Slovenian Tourist Board to inform the general public about unique experiences and stories of Slovenian tourism.

The editorial team of Slovenia.info prepares new and recycles existing stories on a monthly basis, in accordance with the annual and monthly editorial content plan. The stories, which are also supported by the product associations, present the unique offer of Slovenian tourism - novelties, interesting experiences, tips and ideas for spending your holidays in Slovenia. The content also responds to current events, be it major sporting events, global awards, seasonal novelties etc.

On monthly basis, stories inthe newsletter act as a monthly guide to the most beautiful stories of the umbrella products of Slovenian tourism, exciting one-of-a-kind and traditional events, seasonal offers and top tips for holidays in Slovenia. Each newsletter contains interesting content on active holidays in nature, city and cultural experiences, holidays in Slovenian spas and health resorts, gastronomic specialities, Slovenia's green story etc.

The newsletters are translated into four languages: Slovenian, English, Italian and German, and are aimed at the general public - those who have already visited Slovenia and want to stay in touch with unique experiences, as well as those who are still thinking about visiting Slovenia and are looking for inspiration and useful information. At the same time, the newsletter keeps in touch with Slovenia fans who have already signed up to receive the monthly e-newsletter. And there are already more than a hundred thousand of them.

The most popular content of the newsletter in the past year includes new and renovated accommodation, an overview of New Year's Eve celebrations in Slovenia, new Michelin star winners, stories with recipes for traditional Slovenian dishes and the overarching video content, which is also extremely popular. It is interesting to see how the recipients of the different language versions react to the monthly content. For example, German-language recipients of the newsletter respond very well to stories which they then like to explore further on Slovenia.info, while for Italians, the most popular content is almost without exception about pampering or a break at a Slovenian spa.
