Dallas Mavericks helped refresh basketball courts in Celje
Dallas Mavericks, the club of Slovenian basketball ace Luka Dončić, and the Municipality of Celje renovated two basketball courts in Celje in a joint project. This is the first such project by any NBA team in Europe.

Dallas Mavericks, the club of Slovenian basketball ace Luka Dončić, and the Municipality of Celje have renovated two basketball courts in Celje, which are aimed to promote basketball among the young population. The Dallas Mavericks fully financed the renovation of the Mavs court and co-financed the renovation of the Dončič court in Hudinja. This is the first such project by any NBA team in Europe.
The opening, which took place on October 4, was also attended by representatives of the Dallas Mavericks and the Basketball Association of Slovenia, which also made a significant contribution to the realization of this project. In his speech, the Mayor of the Municipality of Celje, Bojan Šrot, expressed his enthusiasm and pride that the famous NBA team from Dallas chose Celje for this project.
