Golden Circle with Primož Roglič in Maribor

On Sunday, October 9, a charity cycling event organized by Primož Roglič and Nova KBM bank called the Golden Circle with Primož Roglič will take place. The Slovenian Tourist Board also participates in the project as part of the partnership with Primož Roglič, ambassador of Slovenian tourism.

The route is 61 kilometers long, but those who can keep up with Primož's pace can prolong the route with the so-called "fast lap", where they will be able to compete with Primož in additional 7 kilometres of a more challenging uphill route. At the event, funds will be collected for the Primož Roglič Foundation, the purpose of which is to support young athletes and encourage the development of cycling among elementary school children. At the same time, the Foundation wants to provide psychological and financial support to promising young athletes from various sports. Participants also have the opportunity to buy a cycling jersey in a combination of black and gold, which will also be worn by Primož Roglič at the event. The event is already sold out, which proves the extreme popularity of both the sport ace and cycling as a form of active leisure.

Cycling offers exceptional added value for the local environment and population. Primož Roglič, with his heart and exceptional successes, further contributes to the visibility of Slovenia as a cycling superpower and as an exceptional destination for cycling holidays.
