The National Anthem of Slovenia among Guinness World Records

Thurzó Zoltán, a pianist from Romania, decided to break the Guinness record in "the highest altitude grand piano performance” category by playing piano at an altitude of 5,325.77 m for exactly 132 minutes. Among the 63 pieces was also the Slovenian national anthem.

Zoltán Thurzó is a classical music concert pianist from Romania. On 13 June, he broke the Guinness record in "the highest altitude grand piano performance” category by playing 63 pieces for 132 minutes, at temperature between +1.0°C and +3.0°C. at the Mount Everest Base Camp, at an altitude of 5,325.77 metres (17,473 ft). Before him, the title was held by the British pianist, Evelina De Lain.

The main theme of his Guinness piano concert was “Anthem in the Heights”. Among the 63 pieces, 37 were classical piano pieces, and 26 were national anthems of various countries, including Slovenian.
